Traditional coverings or bonnets are associated with the Amish and Mennonite faiths. Many sisters choose to wear them since they are easy to wear. Some want a more traditional covering.

Feel free to wear one even if you are not of these faiths.

Since everyone does not want ties, we offer them separately for a very low cost of .25 cents per covering. Ties are uncut and 24". We use 1/4" double faced satin ribbon.

We suggest using a hair clip at the top of your head (you can also put them at the sides) and then thread a covering pin through the covering and hair to secure in place. Each covering may fit each individual differently. The fit also depends on how your hair is put up, how thick your hair is and the shape of your head.
